Angelina Jolie and David Beckham are to feature in an Armani ad campaign together Perez Hilton is reporting today.  Angelina signed on to the brand last month to be the face of a new scent debuting later in the year while David Beckham has been advertising its underwear since 2007, appearing for a second time with wife Victoria in this year's fall/ winter campaign.

Marketers at Armani, however, have clearly gotten wise to the fact that a Beckham – Angelina campaign, already creating a buzz on the internet, would create a media frenzy surpassing that stirred up by Beckham and his wife and that can only be good for them at a time when luxury items are resoundingly out of fashion.

That said the source that leaked the story has stated that the advertisements will be “family friendly ...  sexy without offending their partners,” dispelling any hopes for a racy campaign. Sex sells, but not as much as publicity.
