"Hey bitches", there is a new (ish) fashion vlogger in town and you really should check him out. William Sledd is a Gap store assistant from Paducah in Kentucky and his ‘Ask A Gay Man’ series on You Tube has already gained him mention in Women’s Wear Daily and Elle and spots on Isaac Mizrahi and Rachel Ray, not to mention the Denim Edition for Glamour.com which to date has had over three million hits.
Sledd has, in fact, been vlogging for almost three years, posting his first video on You Tube in September 2006, I, however, will own up to the fact that I have just discovered him by virtue of his 10 Things Women Should Never Wear piece. I must admit, though, my first thought was ‘great another gay man here to tell us women what to wear’, but instead I ended up agreeing with everything he said. Disney T-Shirts, pleather, fake handbags, the leopard print blouse, the denim vest, in other words, child women, hookers, tramps, grandmothers and moms of the 1980s!
