September can be an awkward month fashion wise, not yet cold enough to don the winter coats and boots, but no longer warm enough to wear shorts and summer dresses on their own. Traditionally this calls for layering of summer wear and the extensive use of cardigans and light jackets. However the stylists at Canada’s the ReFINEry took a different approach at a recent charity fashion show, brought to our attention courtesy of finalfashion.ca.
Introducing the Bermuda shorts, pumps and jumper look, summer on the bottom, winter on the top. The fitted denim shorts and nude round toed pumps combined with the loose off the shoulder jumper are the perfect combination of comfortable and chic to keep you both cosy and cool in the autumn weather. We particularly love how the off the shoulder jumper combined with the feathered headband gives this look an 80s meets Woodstock vibe which is bang on trend for this season.
