Gossip Girl has done it again, and this time Serena and Blair have got a look in, having just been voted best dressed show by People Magazine who release their annual best and worst dressed issue on Friday. The ten best dressed ladies are already online, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker being unsurprising additions to the list while Fergie and Rihanna add a level of funky cool. Michelle Obama, who was also featured in Vanity Fair's Best Dressed of 2008, gains recognition for her 'polished', Jackie Kennedy-esque looks. Favouring designers Maria Pinto and Isabel Toledo she manages to appear business-like without compromising on her femininity.
The real star of the list, though, is Gwyneth Paltrow who this year managed to shake off her so so image by shortening both her hair and her hemlines! Sporting quite a few mini dresses on the Iron Man press tour, the standout was the Stella McCartney Fall 2008 cut out dress back in April. Coupled with a pair of sky high Louboutin pumps the dress showcased both her incredible legs and incredible body and was, perhaps, the red carpet look of the year.
Making up the rest of a very elegant list were Anne Hathaway, Heidi Klum, Eva Mendes and Charlize Theron.
