In six years together I have accomplished a lot with my other half, but one thing I have not been able to do is convince him to go cycling. In his opinion the unattractiveness of a cycle helmet is an insurmountable obstacle. In my opinion risking death for the sake of fashion is a ridiculous notion. So, the idea of going out cycling has been placed firmly on the back burner.
