Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Gown Fetches 213,000 GBP Marilyn Monroe's iconic pink gown from the Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend scene in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes has fetched GBP 213,000 at auction exceeding the asking price of GBP 170,000. Also on sale at Hollywood auction house, Profiles in History, on June 10-12 was Mary Poppins's magic carpet bag which was sold for GBP 65, 274 and Johnny Depp's scissor hands from Edward Scissorhands which fetched GBP 18, 885.
Rachel Zoe to Launch Her Own Line of Clothing
After a number of years in the spotlight, a book, a reality show and a line for QVC celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe has finally announced that she is launching her own clothing line. The Rachel Zoe Collection will début autumn/ winter 2011 and will include her trademark faux furs, leather jackets and maxi dresses.
Mulberry Designs Collection for Target
Appearing in Target stores and online at Target.com for a limited run from 10th October to 24th December this year is the Target x Mulberry collection, a collection of eight limited edition bags designed exclusively for Target by the British fashion house. The bags will be produced in a variety of fabrics and it is rumoured that there will be versions, although stopping short of being exact replicas, of popular styles.
