Luxury, not just workaday, skin

Natural, organic body lotions that make a difference

The field of skincare is packed with contenders and their soft-skin promises. Occasionally, though, a product rises to the surface--and not just because it’s full of agreeably floating fats. That’s a good thing in a moisturizer, of course. As someone with dry skin, I’m on a constant quest to find non-greasy, quality moisturizers to keep my epidermis in a manageable state. I looked for the right product for a long time and have decided that, for me, the answer is flower oils. I’ve made another happy discovery in Hawaiian-based moisturizers like those from Hawaiian Skin and Worldwide Skin, which are packed with rich, natural ingredients. These products are seriously emollient, and they’re not simply a bottle of chemical fragrances. That makes all the difference for me.

I use the body wash Spotless, for instance. It contains aloe and shea, the flower ylang ylang, and vanilla. Spotless contains no synthetic fragrances, and is made in the United States in a solar/wind-powered facility. It is in compliance with California’s Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. Soft, the body lotion from the same company, also contains ylang ylang and vanilla, as well as organic coconut and jojoba oils. After wearing this for a week, my skin felt like someone else’s; I’d always had what I’d call workaday skin, but now I had something I’d call luxury skin. These days, I highly recommend these two products, because they made such a difference for me. If you have dry skin and want natural, organic products, Spotless and Soft are well worth a try. Luxury skin, after all, is worth having. http://www.hawaiianskin.com
