Christmas is the time for giving, but it is also the time for lists. As another year comes to a close every publication from The Times to your local paper begin to draw up their ‘best ofs’; 10 best speeches, 10 best dressed, 10 best adverts, 10 best films etc. Indeed the CW has devoted an entire page to Gossip Girl’s Top Ten Lists.
